The joke of transparency

The White House press corps finally gets the joke…and now knows that it is on them.

In a story about why reporters are unhappy with the Obama administration, Politico writes: [Robert] Gibbs said at one of his briefings, “This is the most transparent administration in the history of our country.”

Peals of laughter broke out in the briefing room.

  2. [...] Couple of points: This type of political “horse trading” is unethical at best and illegal at worst. Time for a special prosecutor. In Colorado we don’t like this type of political corruption.  Second, this president sold himself as being above the political fray.  So much for Obama’s embrace of transparency. [...]
